Chiara Scarpitti

Biografia

Designer, specialized in contemporary jewellery. Her works are spread over di erent levels of the contemporary, on new design methodologies, using the most innovative and experimental techniques of industrial production. Interested in: jewellery design, objects design, art installations. BIO Live and work between Naples and Milan. Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design at Politecnico of Milan. Degree in Industrial Design at Second University of Studies of Naples. Classical High School. In 2007 she attended the Course of High Formation in Jewellery, direct by Alba Cappellieri, Polidesign, Milan. In 2010 and 2011 she attend textile training courses at Fondazione Roberto Capucci in Florence. From 2000 she research, development, design contemporary jewellery in limited edition. Actually she collaborate at the Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli with the arch. Claudio Gambardella in Interior Design. Alongside university she works as a designer hybridising design with contemporary art. From 2009 to the end of 2010 she held an internship at studio Giancarlo Montebello Body Ornaments in Milan and from 2004 to 2006 she collaborated at studio Riccardo Dalisi in Naples. From 2007 she is member ADI (Association Industrial Design ) and AGC (Association Contemporary Jewellery).
